Wow…well we spent 5 days in Vegas at NAB and man it is getting HUGE. We did 3 days of conferences and tutorials on FCP after effects and HD! Loads of fun and learning! highlights included some after effects classes taught by Angie Taylor. she has a book coming out soon on AE and it will be a must read. Also the HDV class with Douglas Spotted Eagle (yup he’s a native american new age flute guy) was excellent, he really knows his tech on hi def, we will all have to be upgrading to HDV soon…We only had one day to hit the exhibit floor…and let me tell you that is not nearly enough time, it was HUGE, filled all 4 halls of the vegas convention center. The 3-d Live Brodcast system from Nixus (see photo gallery below) was incredible. Apple introduced a new 17″ laptop (which jaz tells me prices out exactly the same as 15″ if you up the 15″ inch processor to match…wierd eh). Not much else from Apple, we were hoping to here more about rumored FCP Extreme.
Here are just a few pictures of the show-

Here are a few things we saw on the floor that looked very cool!
Anthro Chair! if you got $1500 to drop on a chair, well this is THE one, it was REALLY comfortable. they have great computer furniture in general…alittle pricy, but high quality stuff.
