So i discovered while shooting the unveiling of the worlds first moon array reflector (full story forthcoming eventually) that our beloved xl-1 has developed a dead pixel. After a bit of searching i found these Digital Heaven folks. They have some swell plug-ins for FCP that will help remove Dead Pixels. And for only $10 it beats trying to do it the old fashioned way…They have a few other interesting workflow related programs like AutoMotion, which creates captions from text files on a motion file you import (watch their demo it shows it better than i can explain).
